Your private tour of Southern Vietnam starts on arrival at Tan San Nhat (Saigon) Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh tour – Cu Chi (B/-/-)
Your vacation begins with breakfast in your hotel, followed by a guided tour of some of the most important attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, beginning with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until the end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. You’ll also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the best examples of Taoist temples in Vietnam. After lunch you’ll be driven to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of approximately 200km constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American War. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B/L/-)
Today you’ll head out of the city for the Mekong Delta with a visit to Cai Be for a local traditional boat trip to observe the daily lives and activities of the local people who live along the river. Visit the various fascinating local cottage industries including rice paper makers and bonsai nurseries before docking at Ving Long and continuing to Can Tho, the largest town in the Mekong Delta. Overnight at a hotel in Can Tho

Day 4 Can Tho – Chau Doc (B/-/-)
An early visit to Cai Rang floating market is an option before your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we head northwest to Chau Doc, situated near the Cambodian border, on the way we visit the crocodiles farm at Long Xuyen. In the afternoon we take a boat to visit fish farms where fish are bred in wooden cages suspended under floating houses on the river, then continue by boat to visit a village of stilt houses belonging to the Cham minority where colorful traditional textiles are woven on old wooden looms. We return to dry land in time to drive up Sam Mountain to watch the sunset over the Cambodian border and take a boat trip on Hau River before end trip today. Overnight in Chau Doc.

After breakfast this morning group will board for speed boat to Phnom Penh. Trip ends after boarding on board
