Itinerary                                  

Day 01 : Bangkok – Chiang Mai Half Day City & Temple Tour+Kantoke Dinner  (D)
Arrival Chiang Mai International Airport / Please look for your driver who holding the signboard with your name and transferred to your Hotel.
Afternoon  Visit and explore four revered temples in Chiang Mai. In the center of the city lies Wat Phra Singh first built during the reign of Phra Chao Kham Fu (1328-1335). And continued to Wat Chedi Luang, the large Chedi (the biggest in the city) behind the viharn was constructed by King Saen Muang Ma around 1401. Next visit Wat Chiang Man. Drive around the old city to see the moat surrounding it and the ruins of the city gates. Then visit the largest central market, Worarot Market, alive with its daily hustle and bustle. Exotic fresh fruits, preserved food, local delicacies, clothes galore, flowers and other knick knacks, all at reasonable prices. Evening enjoy  dining on delicious Northern Thai Cuisine called “Khantoke Dinner”  including Hill tribes dances performed by the Akha, Yao, Lisu and Karen tribes rounds up this entertaining evening. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 02              Full Day Doi Inthanon National Park Tour
After Breakfast at hotel, today we will start tour to Doi Thanon, Doi Inthanon, 8,500 feet above sea level. Doi Inthanon is the tail of Himalaya mountain range, designated as a national park, the moist natural environment is a paradise for birds as it has almost 400 species, animals, flowers and faunas.
Morning After a final steep climb, the summit is surprisingly flat though misty, cool and breezy. Walk shortly to see and enjoy exploring around Ang-Kha Nature Trail at the highest peak viewing beautiful Fern & Moss as well as White & Red Rhododendrons (bloom only during Jan – Feb).         Visit the Twin Pagodas built by the Thai Air force in honor of their Majesties King and Queen for their 60th Birthday Anniversaries. A visitors’ center nearby contains tourist information both in Thai and English. Stop on the way down to shop at Hmong Tribal Market who trade various kinds of vegetations, temperature fruits and flowers from their own farm. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.
Afternoon Drive through Baan Khun Klaang, the biggest Hmong community of Doi Inthanon heading to the Royal’s Project initiated by his Majesty the King to stop the hill tribes from growing the Opium. Enjoy searching around taking some pictures of beautiful flower plantations and the organic farmland inside the Project. Further down to Karen hill tribe village at Baan Sop Had. Last stop at Wachiratarn Waterfall. Relax by fresh and clear fall for freshen up after a long day tour.  16.30 hrs.  Transfer back to Chiang Mai.

Day 03 Full day Experience Elephant riding & Bamboo Rafting Tour  (B/L/-)
After breakfast at hotel,
Morning. Pick up from the hotel and head to the northern part of Chiang Mai. Arrive Mae Taman Elephant Camp situated on the bank of the Mae Tang River.Start a full day trip by watching the Elephant’s bathing enjoying themselves with the mahouts in the river which’s lovely and fun!    Then, a show of how these magnificent animals working in the timber industry by pushing, dragging and rolling logs in unison at the command of their mahouts. Also many activities are being performed to show their talent and intelligence for instances playing soccer, game, massage and even draw such a beautiful painting of abstract, trees, flowers or even picture of themselves.          It’s now a time for an exciting 45 minutes Elephant ride crossing the river and climbing hills into the lush jungle. You’ve got to “swing with the sway” as you rumble and thrash along…and hang on tight folks. (Elephants are very sure-footed animals). Then experience 15 minutes Ox-Cart riding back to the camp.
Lunch   A Buffet lunch is provided at the restaurant inside the camp.
Afternoon   After lunch, enjoy about an hour Bamboo rafting trip on the placid Mae Tang River. Usually glide along during a Summer time when the river is quite shallow. Relax & enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Tang River.Finish a rafting trip and Further to the Orchid Farm on route and stop at an Orchid Nursery and Butterfly Farm filled with more than 50 different varieties of gorgeous orchid blooms in a dazzling array of colures. There is a superb collection of exotic butterflies to dazzle and bewitch you. Return to the hotel.

Day 04   Chiang Mai –Doi Suthep- Departure (B)
Breakfast  at Hotel. This half day tour will give you the opportunity to visit the symbol of Chiang mai. the trip entails a pleasant 15 km. wildly driving up 3,500 feet above sea level to visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, this symbol of Chiang Mai contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha which is enshrined in the magnificent, glowing golden pagoda. Free for shopping till time to Departure flight/Transfer to Airport.
