Day 1 International Arrival, Yangon at sunset (No Meal)
Upon your arrival in Yangon, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After a short rest, we will go to visit Shwedagon Pagoda and try to catch the fabulous sunset there. You will have a chance to watch the color changing over 40 tons of gold leaf. Overnight: Yangon

Day 2 Yangon City Tour (B/-/-)
Today, we explore the city of Yangon from the ChaukHtatGyi Pagoda and Sule Pagoda. After a stroll at the MahaBandoola Park with MahaBandoola Garden to see colonial-style high court and city hall, head to the lively Indiantown and Chinatown. In the afternoon, you will visit BogyokeAung San Museum and pay a stroll along the bank of Inya Lake.

Day 3 Yangon – Bagan (B/-/-)
In the morning you will be escorted to airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon your arrival, you will be met and escorted to your hotel. And then, we start to visit the Nyaung-U Market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, pay a visit to a lacquer-ware workshop to see Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts before exploring the amazing mural paintings at the Myingaba GuByaukgyi Temple. Later on, watch the sunset over the Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Day 4 Bagan Sightseeing (B/-/-)
This morning, we start a scenic drive to Mount Popa. Along the way, stop by a Local Village to learn about local culture and lifestyle. For the energetic, there is time to climb up 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. Have a lunch at a hill resort. Get back to Bagan to visit Ananda Temple and then relax in your hotel for fabulous sunset view.

Day 5 Bagan – Heho – Kalaw (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Heho.
Upon arrival, we will drive to Kalaw, popular hill station in the British days, Kalaw sits high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau. It is still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial era. The small population is a mix of Shan, Indian Muslim, Bamar and Nepali. THEIN TAUNG PAYA: temple perched on the hill overlooking the Thazi-Taunggyi Road. AUNG CHANG THA ZEDI: glittering stupa (Buddhist religious monument) covered in gold-coloured mosaics. NEE PAYA: located west of the town, it features a gold lacquered bamboo Buddha.
We will start a short trekking (3 hours to 4 hours) to Paine Pin village surrounding area and visit the hill tribes’ villages in their colorful costumes.
Back to Kalaw and stay overnight.

Day 6 Kalaw – Inle Lake (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, fly to Heho and drive around 1 hour to the pier for private boat to your hotel in Inle Lake for check-in and have a short rest. Onward visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the famous principal shrines in Myanmar. Lunch overlook the lake.
Visit silk weaving on wooden handlooms and also visit local blacksmiths workshops before back to the hotel for rest. Enjoy the sunset view at your hotel from the outlook sitting.

Day 7 Inle Lake Discovery (B/-/-)
The whole day sightseeing to Inle Lake, including a Local Market and Indein village, the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you through a long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their produce. This ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on Lake Inle. Afternoon back to hotel and the rest day is yours for free at leisure, just relax and enjoy the quiet and peace time.

Day 8 Inle Lake – Heho – Mandalay (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until time to transfer to Heho airport for afternoon flight to Mandalay. Up on arrival proceed directly to enjoy a Sunset on the boat to view the 1.2km long U Bein Bridge which is 162 years old. After that, transfer to your hotel for check-in and leisure in the evening.

Day 9 Mandalay Sightseeing (B/-/-)
Today you will visit City Harbor Bridge and continue to Saggaing Hill. The afternoon’s tour begin with Mahamuni Pagoda and Shwenandaw Monastery (ShweKyaung). Continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda, known also as the world’s biggest book. Finally, enjoy the spectacular sunset at Mandalay Hill, 230 meters in elevation, commands a magnificent view of the city and surrounding countryside.

Day 10 Mandalay, Departure (B/-/-)
After breakfast, drive to Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon Monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study the Buddha scripture. If time allow, you will have the opportunity to observe the monks having their last meal of the day in total silence. And then drive to the airport for flight to next destination.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR MYANMAR:
1. Please note that credit cards and traveler cheques are not accepted in Myanmar and that visitors must be bring sufficient cash (best in US Dollars, but Euros also increasingly accepted) to change and make any purchases and payments. Please bring new US Dollar bills ("big heads" instead of "small heads") and with series numbers not starting with CB as these are not accepted in Myanmar due to rumours these series are counterfeit.
2. Travelers to Myanmar are required to have a travel insurance covering the cost of medical evacuation flights.
3. The schedules of domestic flights in Myanmar are provided as an indication only. Once a booking is confirmed we can provide more precise timings, but these remain nevertheless subject to change without notice by the airlines until travelling date. It might therefore in some cases be necessary to amend your program and itinerary due to such schedule changes. We thank you for your understanding.
