Itinerary                                              

Day 01 :            Bangkok – Chiang Mai Half Day Doi Suthep+ Kantoke Dinner
Arrival Chiang Mai International Airport / Please look for your driver who holding the signboard with your name and transferred to your Hotel. 13.30 hrs. Start sightseeing the trip entails a pleasant 15 km. wildly driving up 3,500 feet above sea level to visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, this symbol of Chiang Mai contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha which is enshrined in the magnificent, glowing golden pagoda. Evening enjoy  dining on delicious Northern Thai Cuisine called “Khantoke Dinner”  including Hill tribes dances performed by the Akha, Yao, Lisu and Karen tribes rounds up this entertaining evening.

Day 02              Full Day Chiangrai & Golden Triangle Tour
Breakfast    Start from the hotel in Chiang Mai driving along a wildly route via Doi Saket through scenic hills, valleys and villages.
Morning      A short break is made at Mae Khachan Hot Spring and White Temple. Proceed to Chiang Rai province. Visit Akha & Yao hill tribe villages in Mae Chan area. View around taking pictures of tribal villages & people who still dress up in their traditional costume as well as purchasing some cheap crafts from them. As the Akha especially is still a very poor people then, extra money is normally asked if you’re taking their picture anyway if you’re still happy to do that please negotiate with them before. Continue to the ancient town of Chiang Saen, the capital of the kingdom until 13th century before King Meng Rai, the founder of Lanna Kingdom moved the capital to Chiang Rai. At that time the Myanmese also arrived and started to occupy the area, Chiang Saen was then totally destroyed and became an abandoned city for many decades. Visit Wat Chedi Luang, almost 800 years old temple also one of the most important temples in Chiang Saen that was also destroyed and left abandoned. Further drive along the Mekong’s River Bank to The World Renowned, Golden Triangle, the mystery land in the past related to the Drug Trade and War.
Afternoon  Buffet lunch at the restaurant.Drive up a small hill to a scenic point at Wat Pu Kao for a picturesque view over the Mekong River and the meeting point of 3 different countries; (Golden Triangle) Thailand – Laos – Myanmar. Then, take a short walk from the temple down to the Opium Museum where questions and curiosity about the Opium are replied.Go on travelling to Mae Sai, a bustling market at the border town with Myanmar and the northern most point of Thailand.Shop around for some precious stones particularly Jade from Myanmar as well as Chinese Goods that are shipped along the Mekong River down to Thailand.Head back to Chiang Mai. Arrive and transfer to the hotel

Day 03 Chiang Mai-Mae Sa Elephant Camp- Pai  (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel before depart from Chiang Mai towards the northern part.
Morning Stop to visit an Orchid Farm & Butterfly Farm filled with gorgeous orchids bloom in a blaze of multi-colors.Then Further to a very well-known Mae Sa Elephant Camp to watch an Elephant’s bathing as well as the demonstration under the command of their mahouts of how talent and intelligent they are by hauling & dragging logs, playing soccer & games, massaging, and painting such a beautiful abstract, flowers or trees.Continue the trip to a local market at Mae Malai.
Lunch will then be served at the local restaurant on route to Pai.
Afternoon After lunch, proceed to a Lisu hill tribe village. Among all minority groups in this country, the Lisu is the most distinctive tribe by both the exotic bright colors of their traditional costumes and also by the way they are.Go on travelling to Pai, passing and mesmerizing emerald green forests, hills and valleys.16.00hrs         Transfer to hotel at Pai Hot Spring Spa Resort.

Day 04 Pai-Padong Long Necked-Mae Hong Son
Breakfast   After breakfast at the resort, leave for Tam Lod, the largest cave in Mae Hong Son.
Morning  Enjoy exploring around the wonders of the interior by feet as well as a small bamboo raft pull by a strong guy as the trip’s leader as well. Proceed driving to Fish Cave National Park, where thousands of Carps are found and considered as sacred frolic in their natural habitat.Further to Mae Hong Son, the land of three mists as well as a home of various ethnic groups mainly emigrated from Myanmar.Lunch at a restaurant in the city.
Afternoon Take an exhilarating 45 minutes boat trip along the Pai River to the “Padong Long-Necked” hill tribe village at Nam Pieng Din. The womenfolk wear brass rings around their necks & limbs and customarily a ring needed to be added every year.17.00hrs         Transfer to the Golden Pai Resort for dinner & overnight.

Day 05 Mae Hong Son-City Tour-Transfer out
Transfer to Mae Hong Sorn Fresh Morning Market.
Breakfast   Back to have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Continue to revere four splendid Myanmese style temples; Wat  Jongkam, Wat Jongklang, Wat Hua Wieng and Wat Doi Kong Moo for  a panoramic view of Mae Hong Sorn and the countryside surrounding.
Lunch Lunch will be served at a restaurant the city.13.00hrs Transfer to the airport to catch the afternoon flight back to Chiangmai or a connecting flight back to Bangkok.
