ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival – Ho Chi Minh (None)
Upon arrival Tan Son Nhat airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel (check in time: 14:00). Then you are free. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnel – Ho Chi Minh ( B/-/-)
Your vacation begins with breakfast in your hotel, followed by a guided tour of some of the most important attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, beginning with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until the end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. You’ll also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the best examples of Taoist temples in Vietnam. After lunch you’ll be driven to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of approximately 200km constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American War. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B/L/-)
Today you’ll head out of the city for the Mekong Delta with a visit to Cai Be for a local traditional boat trip to observe the daily lives and activities of the local people who live along the river. Visit the various fascinating local cottage industries including rice paper makers and bonsai nurseries before docking at Vinh Long and continuing to Can Tho, the largest town in the Mekong Delta. Over night at a hotel in Can Tho.

Day 4 Can Tho – Cai Rang – Chau Doc (B/-/-)
Rise early and go by boat to the township of Cai Rang to see the hustle and bustle of a floating market. Then, drive approximately three hours to the township of Chau Doc, a colorful and sleepy town near the Vietnam-Cambodia border.
In the afternoon, you will visit a small village of ethnic Cambodians who have made the area home. The centerpiece of the village is the temple where you will have the opportunity to have a chat with the monks. Then continue to Tra Su Melaleuca Forest, an ecological reserve spanning 850 hectares. Glide quietly by sampan, through the thick mangroves and keep an eye out for the myriad of bird life. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 5 Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, we will return to Ho Chi Minh. It’s take us about 7 – 8 hour for driving. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 6 Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B/-/-)
There is some free time for your own exploration in Ho Chi Minh until we transfer to airport for your flight departure. The trip ends.
